The Town of Mead is creating a plan for its Open Space, Parks and Trails as a means of establishing a long-term vision and strategy to develop a dynamic and sustainable park, open space and trails system for the Mead community. On the cusp of a large population surge, the development of this Master Plan could not occur at a better time. This plan will identify the community’s needs and desires, guide effective allocation of funding and maintenance, coordinate potential partnerships, and result in a prioritized list for improvements, park, trails and recreation facility development, as well as the preservation of lands for open space.

All residents are invited to participate in a number of focus group and public meetings. Please come and tell us what you would like to see in Mead's parks, trails and recreation facilities.		 All residents are encouraged to provide input on the Open Space, Parks and Trails Master Plan. We want to hear from you! Want to know how far along we are?
